Why Your Lower Back Pain isn’t Actually in your back.
The Hidden Culprits: Psoas
How These Muscles Affect You.
These muscles are located deep within your core and hip. Because they connect your spine to your legs, when they become tight they constantly pull on your lower vertebrae.
Constant Aching: Dull, persistent pain in the lumbar region (Back).
Restricted Mobility: Difficulty standing up straight after sitting or limited range of motion in your hip.
Referred Pain: Discomfort that can be in the low back, glutes or down the front of the thigh.
While many therapists avoid these areas because they require a deep, precise touch. I focus on them specifically to provide long-term relief. By releasing the tension in the Psoas and Iliacus.
Decompressing the lumbar spine
Restoring natural hip rotation.
Rebalancing your pelvis to take the “tug-of-war” off your back.
